1/17 – Jeff’s “Rain Chances Tomorrow” Wednesday Night Forecast
Cold temperatures will stick around overnight but we have likely bottomed out for the most part. Light winds out of the east/southeast will limit how much more temperatures will fall. Inland spots should avoid a widespread hard freeze while some spots south of the interstate may not even get below freezing. Still take necessary precautions with the cold weather. Cloud cover will begin to increase before daybreak ahead of a system that’s moving in.
Tomorrow will be warmer thanks to southeast winds and more moisture working in. There is the growing possibility of sea fog setting up in the afternoon due to the nearshore waters being so cold. There is also a 30% chance of light rain during the day tomorrow with rain chances likely in play tomorrow night. Rain chances will be put to bed with the passage of a cold front before daybreak Friday.
Friday will be chilly and windy with colder air moving into the area. Hard freeze concerns return for Friday night and Saturday night with cold air that sticks around during the day too. Be prepared for the frigid conditions. Next week shows signals of warmer conditions and a more unsettled pattern. Rain chances return as early as Monday/Tuesday.
