09/08 Ryan’s “Terrific Thursday” Forecast

It was a terrific Thursday afternoon earlier today and we’ll see another beautiful one after tonight’s cool and clear evening. High pressure continues to dominate the Southeast meaning drier air continues to filter in and the more stable conditions continue. Expect tomorrow’s high to stay in the upper 80s, but the temperature will begin to slowly increase as we head through the weekend. Gulf moisture returns Saturday which will bring additional cloud cover and a slight chance of afternoon showers.

We have two areas of disturbed weather in the tropics, both with low chances of formation over the next few days, but formation is likely in the wave just West of Africa. This system should be entering the Caribbean Sea by the beginning of next week, and we’ll have a better idea of its overall strength by then.
