09/11 Ryan’s “Wet Weekend” Friday Evening Forecast

This week has been dry so far, but now we’re headed into quite a wet weekend. In fact, I don’t expect rain chances to fall below 40% until at least the next weekend. We saw some thunderstorms move in early in the afternoon, but they’ve since dissipated. Expect cloud cover to linger through the night, though I’m expecting only isolated showers by sunrise. Most of tomorrow however will be grey and wet. Expect an 80% chance of showers throughout the day with a cooler low near 87.

Any activity is expected to remain sub-severe, but it’s always prudent to remain weather aware during summer storms.

Things will clear up slightly into Sunday, just to increase again Monday and Tuesday as a developing tropical system moves in. Current intensity and timing will be a high-end tropical storm Monday evening, but we still have several days of development to go. Stay tuned.
