08/29 Ryan’s “Gorgeous” Thursday Forecast

Today’s weather was absolutely gorgeous! The air is a little cooler and drier than it has been after yesterday’s cold front, and thankfully that will continue through most the weekend.

Expect tomorrow and Saturday to be just as sunny as today was, but they’ll be a degree or so cooler than today.

The lower humidity will keep the heat index at a manageable level as well. This trend will last until late Saturday, which is when tropical wave will bring clouds and rain. Rain chances rise on Sunday to 40%, but quickly drop again by Monday. That however is where things become a little less certain.

I expect Dorian to head northward almost immediately after landfall, so a South MS impact is almost impossible.

Assuming that occurs, I expect most of next week to be as sunny and beautiful as today. If that doesn’t happen, there is still a chance the storm could make it into the Gulf. Be sure to stay tuned to WXXV News 25 for the latest updates.
