08/26 Ryan’s “Slightly Warmer” Wednesday Morning Forecast

Expect some slightly warmer and wetter weather than yesterday as we head through Wednesday afternoon.

Expect things to be slightly warmer and wetter out there today compared to yesterday, but with even wetter weather ahead. Today was already slightly warmer than yesterday with the low climbing into the mid 70s, and an upper level ridge just close enough to help bump up this afternoon’s high a couple of degrees. That’ll take us from yesterday’s lower 90s to today’s high of 94° in the Gulfport/Biloxi area. Inland cities will be a little warmer than that, more towards the low-end of the upper 90s. With the humidity, the heat index will climb to a little over a hundred, expecting to just get into Heat Advisory territory before the afternoon clouds and showers start to cool things down. We will have a level one risk of severe weather with these storms, so remain “weather aware” as they start to pop up.
