08/11 Ryan’s “Hazy, Humid” Tuesday Night Forecast

Hot and hazy again this afternoon despite a few cooling showers popping up late in the afternoon. Not much is going to change any given afternoon, so remember to protect yourself from over-exposure. Tonight won’t cool as much as recent nights have, falling to near 77 under partly cloudy skies.

LIGHT TO CALM WINDS WILL LAST INTO THE MORNING, BUT SHIFT SOUTHERLY IN THE AFTERNOON.

Expect another hot, hazy, and humid afternoon ahead with a high near 94 degrees. This means our heat indices will linger in the 100-107 degree range, just south of heat advisory levels. Please remember to hydrate and seek shade often if you must spend a lot of time outside during peak heating.

RAIN CHANCES CLIMB TO 40%, AND WILL CONTINUE TO RISE THROUGH THE MIDDLE AND INTO THE END OF THIS WEEK.

We’ll see slightly cooler highs, but overall little will change until the start of next week. That’s when highs pass beyond the mid 90s, but a cold front is poised to quickly bring relief.
