08/07 Ryan’s “Sea Breeze” Tuesday Evening Forecast

The sea breeze brought a few showers and thunderstorms this afternoon, but the sunny and drier conditions will continue a little longer.

Expect tomorrow to be very similar to today, and Thursday will be much the same but with a little more cloud cover and rain.

Throughout that whole time, the cold front currently in the Central Plains will continue to close in on us and will pool moisture on the Southeast coastline. This will provide ample fuel for more daytime heating showers and thunderstorms, but the front will also add mechanical lifting into the equation.

This boundary will slow and stall over the area, which will keep cloudy skies and rainy days in the forecast for the weekend.

It doesn’t last long though, and things start to clear up as we begin next week.
