07/12 Ryan’s “Thirsty” Thursday Evening Forecast

The ground was as thirsty as you might have been if you were out in today’s dry, hot, and humid weather.

Only one small thunderstorm formed on the border between Harrison and Stone county, otherwise skies were clear.

The temperature and humidity didn’t take a break like the rain did though, as heat indices held steady in the triple digits most of the afternoon.

Expect very little change through the end of the week and the weekend.

Rain chances will slowly increase to “normal” summer levels near 30% by Sunday, but will increase dramatically to begin next week. Rain chances in excess of 40% will continue through Wednesday, meaning next week will be significantly wetter than this one.
