07/10 Ryan’s “Active Tropics” Tuesday Forecast

It’s been quiet across South MS today, but things are really warming up in the tropics. We’ve seen two hurricanes form within the last 5 days in the Atlantic Basin. Neither will have any local impact, but are interesting for tropical weather fans. The local weather has been nice the last few days. Temperatures did rise into the mid 90s today, and felt closer to 100 degrees earlier this afternoon.

The temperatures won’t change much all week long, but we will begin to see more rain as early as tomorrow.

This will just be a slight increase in shower chances, but will be the highest we’ve seen so far and for the rest of the week.

Expect about the same through the weekend though.

Rain chances will increase to 40% under otherwise partly sunny skies, but conditions will begin to clear up and dry out as the middle of next week rolls around.
