07/02 Ryan’s “Drier” Tuesday Forecast

It was a bit drier out there today as afternoon showers struggled to form. We did see a few late in the evening, but they only lasted a few minutes each. While there wasn’t much rain there was plenty of cloud cover. Broken skies carried into the evening and were likely even overcast as night fell. Don’t worry too much though because they’ll gradually clear through the night.

I expect temperatures to continue climbing slightly over the next few days. Heat indices are already in the 100-105 degree range, so we’ll be getting very close to “heat illness” levels.

That means while you should absolutely enjoy your Fourth of July holiday, please do so safely by staying hydrated, seeking shade when overwhelmed, and wearing light, loose-fitting clothing. Expect very little change going forward, so more hot and humid days are ahead!
