06/28 Ryan’s “Sea-Breeze” Friday Evening Forecast
The day started nice and sunny, but daytime heating/sea-breeze induced thunderstorms are now moving in. A few have been “severe warned,” but no significant weather is expected as they continue breaking down.
The silver lining to these storms is the much cooler weather they’re bringing.
At one point just as they were moving in, there were nearly a 30 degree difference between areas in West Jackson county and cooler ones near the state line. Expect to see more of this type of weather for the rest of the week and most of the next. Days will be hot and humid with temperatures in the low to mid 90s and nights that will slowly warm into the upper 70s. Rain is expected nearly every day in the afternoon.
