06/26 Ryan’s “Mostly Dry” Tuesday Evening Forecast

It was mostly dry across the Gulf Coast today, but a few showers still developed in the Northern Counties. The most organized shower popped up just east of Perkinston and moved over the city, directly over our Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College campus camera there. This thunderstorm was a prolific lightning producer, but didn’t last long and was quite small. That means while another South MS town saw rain again today, the rest of the area remained dry.

Expect more of this pattern going forward, with rain chances even increasing slightly for the rest of the week.

Otherwise, expect at least mostly sunny skies with hot and humid conditions.
