06/19 Ryan’s “Last Spring” Friday Night Forecast
Tonight is the last official night of spring, and it’s going to be another hot one. Expect a few clouds to move in, but otherwise it’ll remain mostly clear and warm with a low near 70. Winds will begin light and southerly, but calm quickly after midnight.
SUMMER STARTS TOMORROW, AND IT’LL BE APPROPRIATELY HOT AND HUMID WITH A HIGH NEAR 90 AND SUNNY SKIES.
Drier upper level air will continue to limit afternoon thunderstorm activity, but that has already begun to move out of the area. Expect a few showers Sunday afternoon, but more significant rain arrives during the week. We’ll see a healthy dose of disturbed weather as the dewpoint climbs into the mid to upper 70s and heating is at its peak. In fact, don’t expect a front to bring an airmass change until next weekend.
