06/15 Ryan’s “Father’s Day Weekend” Friday Night Forecast
We’re heading into Father’s Day weekend which will be just as rainy as the week has been. Expect more late morning to early afternoon thunderstorms, many of which will linger into the evening as light showers.
THANKFULLY THOUGH WE WILL FINALLY SEE A BREAK IN THIS EXTREMELY WET PATTERN.
By Monday I expect to see only an isolated shower or two with much less cloud cover. Tuesday regresses a bit, but the first day of Summer rolls around on Thursday I’m expecting to continue a sunny trend into the weekend. Temperatures will climb out of the upper 80s and back into the 90s by this time.
THE DISTURBANCE WE’VE BEEN TRACKING IN THE TROPICS CONTINUES TO LINGER, BUT SIGNIFICANT DEVELOPMENT IS NOT EXPECTED.
The center has shifted Eastward a bit after it’s interaction with land, and it’ll keep its 10% chance of formation as it heads back into the Bay of Campeche and towards Southeast Texas. It’s only expected to remain a “rainmaker” at this time.
