05/26 Ryan’s “Wispy” Friday Night Forecast

A few wispy clouds moved in earlier in the afternoon, and will continue to thicken overnight, but not until right around sunrise. Tonight’s low will linger in the low 70s, with slightly higher humidity leading to light fog in fog-prone areas. Tomorrow will see more cloud cover, higher temperatures, and higher humidity. This trend carries over into Sunday as well, but we’ll begin seeing rain chances increasing as we head into Monday.

These rain chances will pop up along a cold front moving into the area, but that boundary quickly begins to stall and will likely become stationary before breaking down over the next few days. Rain is expected to begin Monday afternoon, and while a few strong storms are possible, it’s still a bit too early for the SPC’s severe threat risk. Rain chances diminish as we head through the rest of the week, but most of the clouds will remain as the boundary continues to linger.
