05/07 Ryan’s “Slightly Warmer” Sunday Night Forecast

Skies remained clear through the weekend as expected, but we’ll continue seeing slightly warmer and more humid days until our next front moves through on Friday. Until then, expect to see very consistent, clear, sunny, and warm conditions. Tonight’s low will fall to around 62 on the waterfront with the upper 50s likely inland. Low level moisture is trapped at the surface, but West/North shifting winds and generally drier air will keep fog out of all but the most “fog-prone” areas. Tomorrow remains sunny and clear, with the afternoon high warming to 83 on the water, slightly warmer inland.

Our weather will continue on this trend until Thursday, when our first significant clouds in about a week will start moving in. Southerly winds increase and moisture will continue pooling in the area until the front finally moves through late Friday. Current thinking on the storm suggests a few thunderstorms, but it’s too early to know for certain if severe weather can be ruled out or not. We will continue to monitor the situation, and update as needed.
