05/03 Ryan’s “Stormy” Wednesday Night Forecast

It’s turned into a dark and stormy night after a rainy afternoon, but we’ll see some very nice conditions after it passes. Tonight’s main threats will be heavy rains leading to localized flooding, though other forms of severe weather can’t be ruled out, they’re just considerably less likely. Between 1-3″ is expected for areas of South MS tonight, which can lead to issues, especially after our storms on Sunday night. Front will be through the area by 2 AM and we’ll begin seeing slow sky clearing through the afternoon and into the evening of Thursday. Afterwards, expect a mostly clear and cooler night with much drier air.

These pleasant conditions last well into next week, with no significant cloud cover or active weather moving in until at least next weekend.
