05/01 Ryan’s “April Showers…” Monday Night Forecast
The last day of April managed to bring inches of showers to South MS yesterday, but today’s sun should help bring out those May flowers. Expect tonight to be calm & clear with temperatures about 10 degrees cooler than the last few nights have been. Tomorrow remains clear and slightly cooler, though warm temperatures will begin to return quickly after return flow sets up later in the day. Much of Wednesday will remain nice as well, but clouds will begin to gather as we head into the late afternoon, and showers & thunderstorms are expected to move through the area Wednesday night into Thursday morning. At this time, those storms are not expected to be severe, but we will continue to monitor the situation.
After the front moves through, things get boring and predictable in the best way. The weekend will be clear and dry with temperatures dropping into the mid-upper 70s on Friday & Saturday, and barely rising into the 80s again by Sunday. Next week seems to be starting off as well as this one did.
