05/19 Ryan’s “Tropical” Wednesday Night Forecast.

As the temperature and humidity rise it’s starting to feel “tropical” in South MS. That feels appropriate considering the other weather-related news today…the first tropical “area of interest” in the Atlantic. This would be the first named storm of the season, Ana, but won’t have any impact on South MS either way.

Locally it’s going to remain like it has for the past few days and nights.

Tonight will be warm and muggy, with cloudy skies and a low near 72. Winds remain brisk through the night, and will continue into tomorrow afternoon. Expect a warm, humid high near 81 degrees with ~15 mph southeasterly winds. We’ll still have around a 30% chance of showers through the day, but that’ll begin to clear up by Friday morning. We’ll only see a few clouds hanging on as the week ends with nothing but sunshine and drier air ahead for the weekend.
