05/15 Ryan’s “Light Rain” Friday Night Forecast

Most of South MS hasn’t seen much rain today, but everyone saw gloomy skies and humid conditions. Those aren’t going anywhere through the night, which will see another warm low near 72. High humidity and light southerly winds will likely lead to fog development later tonight.

Heading into the weekend the skies clear up slightly, but not completely.

Expect partly sunny skies on average with a slight chance of afternoon showers. High will remain in the low 80s with an “extreme” UV index. The clouds and more significant shower chances return again Sunday as a front moves in. Wouldn’t surprise me to see a few thunderstorms, but not looking like a severe situation. This front slowly moves through South MS from Sunday night into Monday morning. Expect improving conditions on the backside, but they won’t be significantly cooler and drier…only slightly.
