05/05 Ryan’s “Clouds Move In” Tuesday Morning Forecast

Clouds move in today after yesterday's sunshine, but the rain holds off a bit longer.

Yesterday’s sunny skies are gone as clouds move in along with higher humidity for your Cinco de Mayo festivities. It’s still going to be a pretty good day, but hard to compare with yesterday’s absolute perfection. The dewpoint rose 10 degrees, which took us out of the “comfortable” 50s and into the “humid” 60s. It will continue to trend upwards through the middle of the week, bringing back our misty, foggy mornings soon. Thankfully the rain stays away today, but we’ll start seeing some spotty showers as early as Wednesday afternoon. As the front closes in overnight we’ll see a level one risk of severe weather move in as well, meaning a few stronger storms are possible along with heavier rain. Stay tuned.

For today, expect a slightly warmer afternoon high near 77° with more noticeable humidity and partly cloudy skies. Winds pick up a bit to around 15 mph, but remain out of the south…leading to even more humid days ahead.
