05/01 Ryan’s “Cool, Calm” Friday Night Forecast
I hope you’re enjoying your cool, calm May Day evening in South MS. Today’s clear sky and sunshine was hard to beat, but things will start changing on us from here. Skies remain clear tonight though, with a low near 55 degrees and calm winds. Tomorrow warms slightly from today, up to 80, but the humidity remains comfortable.
THE HUMIDITY DOESN’T STAY LOW FOREVER THOUGH, SO EXPECT MUGGY CONDITIONS TO RETURN AS EARLY AS NEXT WEEK.
In fact, by Tuesday night, dewpoints will likely have increased 20 degrees from where they are now. That means we’ll see a few foggy nights before our next cold front moves through Wednesday morning. It won’t have much moisture to work with, so only isolated showers and increased cloud cover are likely. Regardless of rain, cooler and drier conditions will move in again just in time for next weekend.
