04/05 Ryan’s “Windy” Wednesday Forecast
Expect a windy evening tonight now that the cold front which brought us our stormy morning has fully passed through. These winds will bring considerably cooler, drier air into South MS, meaning we’ll see an immediate drop in temperatures tonight, falling to 52 on the waterfront. Cool, dry, and windy conditions continue into Thursday, with a high in the low 70s, Northwest winds around 20 mph, and low relative humidities. The forecast at this point could basically be on cruise control for the next several days as conditions change very little in the immediate future and only slightly over the long run. Expect the clear and sunny days to last until around Sunday, when the strong ridge will have finally moved far enough East to set up “return flow” from the South. You’ll have to wait until about Tuesday for the first signs of noticeable cloud cover or temperature increases.
Go out and enjoy!
