03/30 Ryan’s “Mostly Dry” Monday Evening Forecast

Showers will move in just before sunrise, so we’ll remain mostly dry despite an increase in cloud cover. Expect isolated showers as early as 6 AM, but the more organized activity won’t arrive until around noon as the front moves through.

At this time, South MS is under a “marginal” risk for severe weather, so there is a low chance a thunderstorm or two could be on the stronger side.

Mostly though I’m just expecting scattered, light to moderate showers tomorrow afternoon. Expect a high near 83 degrees with breezy southwesterly, then northwesterly winds, near 20 mph and a 40% chance of showers. This front will bring slightly cooler, but significantly drier air into South MS, so expect much more sunshine and lower humidity through the middle of the week. Another front is developing to the west though which will bring slowly increasing humidity, rain chances, and cloud cover through the weekend and into next week.
