03/10 – Brantly’s “Muggy” Tuesday Afternoon Forecast
Warm, damp air has settled into the Deep South. Temperatures are above seasonal once again today, and are expected to remain warmer than normal for the next several days.
Cloudy conditions will persist through the afternoon and evening with scattered showers and a couple of thunderstorms. Rain chances are running at around 50 percent through the evening hours.
By late tonight, we will be rain-free once again, but patchy fog may develop as lingering moisture sinks to the surface with light southerly winds overnight.
Wednesday, skies will start off mostly cloudy before breaking up midday, allowing for a mix of sun and clouds in the afternoon as temperatures climb to the mid 70s inland and lower 70s along the coast.
