02/22 Ryan’s “Clear” Wednesday Night Forecast

Tonight’s clear skies will allow for more cooling, but we’ll remain in the low-to-mid 50s across South Mississippi. The clear skies and light winds will set up a good environment for some fog formation, but where exactly fog will be thickest is still hard to nail down. Any fog will mix out of the area by the late morning, and we’ll see plenty of sunshine to go along with our high in the mid 70s. Expect more of the same Friday, but we’ll begin seeing clouds thicken in the afternoon and evening as a cold front will move through the area overnight. Frontal passage is expected around 2 AM Saturday, though very little active weather will be seen with this system. Expect a great weekend to begin on Saturday though, as temps will drop into the mid-to-upper 60s for the afternoon and into the low 60s for Sunday. Cool weather ends there, as return flow brings Southerly winds and temps in the 70s back for the beginning of next week. Expect scattered afternoon showers through midweek.
