02/28 Ryan’s “Warming Weekend” Friday Night Forecast
We’ve enjoyed quite a string of sunny, dry, and cool days, but two of those things are changing as we continue warming into the weekend. That thing is the humidity, and it’ll begin increasing as return flow sets up Saturday afternoon. Before we get there though, we do have another chilly night ahead with a low near 38 in Gulfport.
SKIES WILL REMAIN CLEAR THROUGH THE NIGHT, THOUGH SOME LIGHT CLOUD COVER WILL BEGIN DEVELOPING IN THE AFTERNOON.
Still expect mostly sunny skies, with a warmer high near 69. It’ll continue to get warmer and more humid for the rest of the weekend, but won’t be drastically different until Monday night. That’s when the first chance of rain in a while pops up, ahead of our next frontal system. The timing on this system has slowed some since yesterday, now expected Wednesday morning. The potential for thunderstorms is there, but still to early for specifics on severe weather. Stay tuned for the latest from WXXV Your Weather Authority.
