02/21 Ryan’s “Freezing Tonight” Friday Forecast
While I expect to be just above it along the coast, many South MS areas will be below freezing later. Freeze Warnings have been issued, but it’s really the inland areas with the issues. I expect temperatures to remain at, or slightly above freezing in Gulfport, with a low near 33. Areas north of I-10 will be below freezing, and cloud remain there for around six hours. The Freeze Warnings expire just after sunrise, and we’ll warm slightly while keeping today’s sunny skies and dry air and a high near 58.
IN FACT, EXPECT DOWNRIGHT BEAUTIFUL WEATHER FOR ALL THE MARDI GRAS FESTIVITIES GOING ON THIS WEEKEND.
A few clouds will begin to move in late Sunday, foreshadowing our next active weather system by Monday. Pockets of heavy rain and thunderstorms are possible, but don’t appear to be severe. A few clouds and showers linger into the morning on Fat Tuesday, but clear quickly by the afternoon.
