02/11 Ryan’s “Still Muggy” Tuesday Evening Forecast

Still muggy in South MS tonight, but drier air isn’t too far away. More dense fog will form on the coastline this evening and will slowly spread inland through the night. Expect the low to remain on the warm side, near 65 degrees.

Tomorrow will be just as cloudy as today was and also slightly cooler, but still with a high in the mid 70s.

Rain chances will be isolated at first, but expect them to become more frequent through the night. The more organized rain will begin around midnight, and will continue into Thursday morning.

The severe threat has been downgraded, but a “slight” risk still covers the northwest corner of South MS.

We’ll continue to monitor this developing situation. After the front, expect rapid clearing and cooling as a secondary front swings through by Friday morning. This will lead to a sunny and cooler weekend, but the rain doesn’t hold off long and returns by Sunday.
