01/02 Ryan’s “Dense Fog” Wednesday Evening Forecast
Last night’s dense fog has largely remained in place throughout the day and we’ll see it carry over into the morning too. That means the grey, foggy weather will continue for at least one more day ahead of a Thursday night front. We are firmly in the warm sector of this developing system, so severe weather is not expected at this time. Scattered showers are expected though, and will bring about an inch of rainfall to the area.
The front itself will finally swing through during the early morning hours of Friday (~4 AM) with some slightly stronger rain, but rapid clearing will begin soon after.
In fact, we’ll see mostly sunny skies by sunset, and almost no cloud cover at all through the entire weekend. This much more sunny and dry pattern continues for the foreseeable future as well, as a weak front only brings a slight increase in cloud cover and isolated rain chances for one day before the skies clear again.
