WXXV Viewers Choice Awards honor South Mississippi businesses and community leaders
BILOXI, Miss. (WXXV)- WXXV’s Viewers Choice Awards took place Thursday night, recognizing the local businesses and people doing big things here in South Mississippi.
The fourth annual gala was held at Ground Zero Blues Club in Biloxi, drawing a packed crowd of nominees representing a wide range of categories.
From arts and entertainment to local services, and the best in food and beverages, the evening celebrated the outstanding businesses, individuals, and organizations that make South Mississippi special.
WXXV’s own Aubrey Spears emceed the event and more than 180 awards were presented to the winners, all voted on by the community in recognition of the very best South Mississippi has to offer. WXXV General Sales Manager Michelle Eubank said, “It really is just a night to celebrate local businesses. We’re fortunate that some of the businesses that are here are advertisers with WXXV, and we love to celebrate them. But, more importantly, it’s for the business owners to celebrate themselves, and to have a night to celebrate with their teams. The Viewer’s Choice Awards, it really is viewer voted. Nobody at WXXV has the power to pick who wins and who loses, and so, it’s really incredible when we can go back and we can say ‘wow, we had over 150,000 votes this year.'”
Thank you to all of our amazing viewers who took the time to vote for your favorite people, places, and businesses here on the Coast.
Nominations for next year’s VCA’s will open on July 12, 2027.
