Wiener Wonderland Light Display

We’ve all heard of a winter wonderland, but a new creation has Coast locals in awe driving through Woolmarket.

A Coast woman, passionate about helping dogs in need, is decking the halls with some of the best doggie decorations.

For the last five years, dachshunds light the sky every night during the Christmas holiday at Shelby Pierce’s house. This year, Pierce’s front yard is home to more than 40 dachshunds.

This is all for a good cause. Pierce is hoping to raise funds for the Tired Dog Rescue to help animals find a forever home. “What better cause? We’ve got dachshunds everywhere, dogs and Tired Dog Rescue, they aren’t only dachshunds specific, but they do get dachshunds in and they have all kind of other dogs. They’re local so why not give them the attention they deserve.”
