West Harrison High School graduation

Seniors at West Harrison High School are ready for the next chapter of their lives after graduation at the Coast Coliseum Saturday.

There were 242 students in the class of 2018. Altogether these seniors have received over $11 million in scholarships collectively. Nine students scored a 30 or higher on the ACT.

Senior Class President Bobby Hudson tells News 25 he is grateful for all of the memories he made at West Harrison. “It’s a bittersweet moment right now. You’re excited yet sad at the same time. West Harrison has done so much for its students. It’s a lot being able to deal with everything, but we are ready to get it over with and see where life takes us from here.”

Hudson says he will attend the University of Mississippi to major in public policy leadership.
