Veterans Village in the works

Crusaders for Veterans is a local organization that’s on a mission to raise $75,000 to purchase land for their veterans transitional village.

Those plans include a community center for educational courses, PTSD counseling, and group meetings as well as a mess hall and a ceremonial hall. There will be 82 homes, a maintenance building, a retail store, and a food bank.

There are also plans for a greenhouse, a garden, and a dog park for service animals that assist veterans with PTSD.
