The mad dash is on not only for the perfect gift but for a romantic place to eat on Valentine’s Day. A master-card study shows Valentine’s Day for most is all about the experiences which include travel gifts and food.
Across the nation, sales at restaurants this year are expected to jump up to about $15.3. Here in Gulfport, Tony’s pizzeria employee Cari Brown says with numbers like that you don’t want to miss out because you didn’t plan ahead. “We will have a few more reservation. It’s just a good idea to make reservations so you’re sure to seat. We only order so much food so if you don’t call ahead you might miss out.”
If you haven’t booked yet, don’t feel bad studies show 40 percent of people don’t book reservations weeks in advance but during the week before Valentine’s Day.
