Two-year-old drowns in Vancleave
Tragic news out of Jackson County today as a community mourns the loss of a two-year-old boy.
A family was swimming in a pond on their property yesterday and went inside for lunch. At one point, the parents of two-year-old Bryant Chapman realized he was missing. He was found unresponsive in the pond.
Bryant’s grandmother performed emergency CPR until emergency units responded. He was taken to Singing River Hospital and then airlifted to Mobile Children’s Hospital.
The death has been ruled as an accidental drowning.
