High pressure continues to dominate our weather pattern, and will continue to do so for at least the next week, despite a cold front which will stall out over the northern part of the state near Wednesday. Moderate chances of rain over the next few days is attributed to convection caused by daytime heating and the formation of a sea breeze. Expect temperatures to range from 95 to 100 across the viewing area, with heat index value very near Heat Advisory levels (around 113), and slightly cooler temperatures near the coastline. Night time temperature will remain warm and muggy near 80. Expect light winds from the West or Southwest for the next few days.
