Traffic Stop Leads to Youth Coach Meth Arrest

A traffic stop on Lemoyne Blvd in St. Martin area of Jackson County resulted in the arrest of 44-year-old Randall Everage Caudell of Biloxi for Possession of Methamphetamine.
Around 8:30 p.m. the Jackson County Sheriff’s Department conducted a traffic stop of a vehicle for a possible switched tag on Lemoyne Blvd near Laura Acres Drive. Caudell, who identified himself as a D’iberville Youth Football Coach, has his children as well as several other children who played on his youth football team in the vehicle. Caudell stated he was returning from recently coaching a football game in Biloxi.
Upon further investigation by Deputies, Methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia were located in the vehicle. Caudell was arrested and the five children were released to parents.
The case has been turned over to the Jackson County MET Team. Caudell is currently in the Jackson County Adult Detention Center awaiting an initial appearance before a County Court Judge. If convicted, Caudell faces fines and imprisonment of not more than eight years and $50,000, or both.
