Ocean Springs Fire Department working on boat improvements
OCEAN SPRINGS, Miss. (WXXV)- The Ocean Springs Fire Department took time to make improvements on their respond boat.
The crew took on the project, installing non-slip decking to make the boat safer.
This decking helps prevent slips and falls while responding to emergencies.
The fire department says this not only improves firefighter safety; it also saves taxpayer dollars while keeping the equipment ready to serve the community.
