Three Men Arrested for Two Armed Robberies in Biloxi
Three men are charged with armed robbery after authorities say they robbed a Biloxi gas station and Waffle House this morning. Twenty-three year-old Justin Marshall, 25-year-old Jariel Peterson, and 22-year-old Theron Whitlock were arrested.
Police first responded to the gas station on Debuys Road and Pass Road in reference to an armed robbery. A black male entered the business with a handgun and demanded money and merchandise from the clerk. A witness told police about a suspicious vehicle in the area just prior to the robbery where a person wearing matching clothing walked into the business.
Minutes later police responded to an armed robbery at the Waffle House on Reynoir Street and noticed the suspects in that vehicle driving away.
Authorities arrested the three men during a traffic stop. Lieutenant Christopher De Back with Biloxi PD said, “Oh, it’s very important if you see something, any kind of crime or if you have knowledge of any kind of crime to let your local police department know because like in this case, it helped us with the vehicle description to kind of link the two crimes together.”
Marshall, Peterson, and Whitlock were each charged with two counts of armed robbery. Peterson and Whitlock received a $200,000 bond. Marshall received a $20,000.
