Texas women arrested for cocaine trafficking in Jackson County

Two Texas women are facing drug charges after agents found over 13 pounds of cocaine in their car in Jackson County.
South Mississippi Metro Enforcement officers stopped the two on I-10 near Highway 57 for driving carelessly. FBI Agent Brett Car says 37-year-old Yohanna Ruiz-Guerra and 19-year-old Evelyn Juarez gave consent to search the vehicle. Officers then found one kilogram of cocaine, arrested the women and seized the car for a more thorough search. Car says 13.2 pounds of cocaine were in the vehicle.
Ruiz-Guerra and Juarez are charged with possession with intent to distribute and are being held with no bond.
