Taste of the Back Bay returns to D’Iberville tomorrow

A tasty event is set to return to Downtown D’Iberville tomorrow to benefit local businesses and students.

The D’Iberville St. Martin Chamber of Commerce will host its Taste of the Back Bay event at the D’Iberville Community Center from 5:30 to 8 p.m.

People are encouraged to wear Hawaiian and tropical attire to match this year’s tropical theme.

Taste of the Back Bay will feature entertainment and numerous local restaurants and vendors presenting their best dishes for people to sample. Scholarships will be presented to local students as well. Sissy Andrews with the chamber said, “We do scholarships and we do the D’Iberville school, the St. Martin school, and we give away a thousand dollars. We did have money. So, we were able to give away those scholarships this year.”
