Candidates for the November special election for Jackson County Sheriff met Thursday night to discuss ways to improve the department.
Monday, the race for Jackson County Sheriff kicked off.
All of the seven sheriff candidates have extensive law enforcement experience and are familiar with Jackson County, but each has a unique focus and goals for the future of the sheriff's department.
Elections for the Jackson County Sheriff will be on November 4th.
