He was a suspect in a case, then allegedly assaulted an officer
Biloxi Police on Saturday arrested a Biloxi man on assault charges after he allegedly struck an officer trying to take him into custody.
Police responded to a call Saturday of a domestic assault on Peyton Drive. When officers arrived, they observed an individual being physically assaulted.
Adrian Lamar Robinson, 42, was developed as a suspect during the investigation and officers attempted to take him into custody for the alleged assault. Robinson allegedly struck an officer during the arrest.
The officer sustained non life-threatening injuries.
Robinson was taken to the Harrison County jail, where he was held on a $50,000 bond set by Justice Judge Albert Fountain.
