Summer Bash food for Vets Drive

Veterans helping veterans: that’s what the U.S. Military Vets Motorcycle Club Summer Bash was all about.

The group hosted a fundraiser on Saturday at Juke Joint to support local veterans. There was live music and plenty of fish to go around. They had many come out to support the cause. Ocean Springs Mayor Shea Dobson was also in attendance.

The group is happy to be helping those who do so much for our country because they have been there first-hand. U.S. Military Vets Motorcycle Club President Farmer said, “I think people tend to forget our vets. They need all the help they can get and that’s what we’re here to do.”

Gulf Coast VA Homeless Program Manager Jodie Picciano-Swanson said, “I am amazed at the support the Gulf Coast has for people who serve our country and this organization and others really always support our veterans and make sure they are taken care of.”

Canned good donations will go to feed hungry veterans on the Coast.
