St. Stanislaus alum named LSU’s backup quarterback

Over in Baton Rouge, the LSU starting quarterback job belongs to Ohio State graduate transfer Joe Burrow who just narrowly beat out St. Stanislaus alum Myles Brennan.

According to Ross Dellenger of Sports Illustrated, Burrow was given the nod for his decision making even though Brennan has the edge in many other departments.

The former Rock-A-Chaw will still play this season and could also redshirt if he doesn’t play in more than four games.
