St. Patrick’s Day Parade

The luck of the Irish put severe weather on hold for the St. Patrick’s Day Parade in Biloxi.
The Hibernia Marching Society hosted their 40th annual parade on Saturday. Mayor Gilich was this year’s grand marshal. The parade navigated through the streets of downtown Biloxi with floats, beads, and plenty of green. Former NFL players Reggie Collier, John Fourcade, and Sammy Winder were judges to see who had the best float.
Collier tells News 25 his vote went toward the float that stood out the most. “The fact that you want something unique. You want to see something unique and stands out, something that separates themselves from the other floats. That’s what I’m looking for. I can’t speak for anybody else, but me personally, that’s what I’m looking for.”
News 25’s Toni Miles also judged the floats in the parade.
