Curry and the Warriors were in DC to face John Wall and the Wizards.

And Curry got hot early. Hitting 7 of 8 3-pointers in the first quarter alone and scoring 25 points.

He proceeded to hit shot, after shot after shot.

He finished the night shooting 19 of 28 from the field, including eleven threes.

Steph Curry finishes the night with 51 points as the Warriors beat the Wizards 134-121.

Wideman Suspended 20 Games

The league hit Calgary flames defenseman Dennis Wideman with the 20-game ban Wednesday afternoon for violating NHL rule number-40, which involves abuse of officials.

If you don’t know who Wideman is, you likely remember this hit. Last Thursday, Wideman drilled linesman Don Henderson into the board’s right near the team benches.

Wideman later apologized to Henderson and has said the hit wasn’t intentional.

The 11th-year Dennis Wideman will be appealing the suspension, but if upheld, he’ll be taking quite the hit to his pocket.

He stands to lose over 560-thousand dollars of his season salary

Teams Continue To Prep For Super Bowl

Yesterday, both super bowl teams were finally able to get out from in front of the cameras and hit the field.

Both the Panthers and Broncos took the field to prepare for Super Bowl 50.

The Broncos practiced at Stanford and it was closed to the public and media which I’m sure was much to the delight of the team.

The panthers also had a closed practiced not too far away at San Jose State University.

Kickoff for Super Bowl 50 is at 5:30 on Sunday the Panthers are currently favored by just over 5 points.
