Singing River hosting job fair for the Environmental Services

Singing River is hiring! The environment services department is looking to hire about 30 people this week.

Today in Gulfport, Singing River hosted the first of three job fairs this week. The environmental services team is looking to hire eight to ten people per location. All that’s needed to apply is a GED or high school diploma, ID, and social security card.

Potential employees can complete the application process onsite and be interviewed on the spot. Environmental Services System Director Terence Holland said, “The aids are the ones that mainly clean the rooms after discharges and even during people’s stay and the floor techs maintain all the floors throughout the facility. We do look for experience but we also hire people who do not have experience. We are really people oriented, we have great benefits, we have a great management team, a great executive team and it’s just a really good place to work.”

This week, Singing River is hosting two more job fairs for aid and floor tech positions. On Wednesday, the job fair will take place at the Singing River Clinic in Ocean Springs from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.  On Thursday, the job fair will take place in Pascagoula from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
