Seniors in Biloxi brunch with Santa and Mrs. Claus
Traveling all the way from the North Pole to Biloxi, Mr. and Mrs. Claus brought a drive-thru Christmas brunch to seniors.
The drive-thru brunch did not start until 9 a.m., however seniors and their families waited almost two hours in line to brunch with Santa and Mrs. Claus. Two-hundred and fifty gift bags filled with snacks, gifts, books, and essentials like hand sanitizer were given out to cars in line.
Each car was also given a muffin and a banana for morning brunch.
The gift bags were pre-prepared by staff while Santa and Mrs. Claus ensured all cars one after the other got their share. “We gave out about 150 bags, we had a lot of drive thru a lot of interest and we had a real good work crew here. Most of them had been nice, one or two have been naughty. We enjoy doing this no matter where, we didn’t mean to bring this cold to Biloxi by coming down here to visit, but it came with us and we’re enjoying it.”
The seniors Christmas Brunch would not have been possible without the donations from Humana, Infinity Funeral Home, Second Lines, United Health Care, and the City of Biloxi.
